Krugerlaan School Academics
At Krugerlaan School, we offer a specialized academic program tailored to meet the unique needs of learners with Mild Intellectual Disabilities (MID). Our curriculum emphasizes practical learning, personal development, and life skills to prepare students for real-world challenges. We follow the Technical Occupational Curriculum (TOC), which ensures learners are equipped with the skills necessary for meaningful employment and independent living.
Technical Occupational Curriculum (TOC)
The TOC is designed to provide learners with hands-on training and practical knowledge across various fields. At Krugerlaan, students engage in a wide range of vocational subjects, including woodwork, agriculture, hospitality, and office practice, to name a few. The focus is on building skills that can be applied in everyday life and the workplace. This approach empowers students to become self-reliant and prepares them for the working world.

This plan is tailored to the abilities and aspirations of each learner, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and support to succeed in their chosen paths after leaving school.
